Lake George
USA · New York
Lake George is a long, narrow lake in the southeastern Adirondack Mountains of New York State, often called the Queen of American Lakes. Its clear waters are dotted with many islands and framed by forested mountains. The village of Lake George at its southern end is a busy summer resort with boat cruises, beaches and the reconstructed Fort William Henry, while the wider lake draws visitors for boating, camping and hiking.
