Killington

Killington is a town in the Green Mountains of central Vermont, known for Killington Resort, one of the largest ski areas in the eastern United States. The ski season runs long, and in summer the mountains are used for hiking, mountain biking and scenic gondola rides. The Appalachian Trail passes nearby, and the town has lodges, restaurants and a lively apres-ski scene.
