Hershey

USA · Pennsylvania

Hershey is a community in Derry Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, a short distance east of Harrisburg. It was developed in the early twentieth century by chocolate maker Milton S. Hershey as a planned town for his factory workers, and chocolate remains central to its identity, down to streetlights shaped like chocolate kisses. Visitors come for the Hersheypark amusement park, Hershey's Chocolate World, ZooAmerica and Hershey Gardens.
