Gettysburg is a small town in south-central Pennsylvania, famous as the site of the decisive Civil War battle of July 1863. Gettysburg National Military Park preserves the battlefield, and the Soldiers' National Cemetery is where Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address. Visitors come for battlefield tours, the museum and visitor centre, historic buildings and the surrounding orchard country.
