Ulvik is a village on an arm of the Hardangerfjord in western Norway, in the fruit-growing district of Hardanger. Orchards of apples, plums and cherries climb the slopes above the fjord, and in late spring the blossom is a major attraction. Visitors come for hiking, cycling, fjord views, local cider and fruit, and as a base for the Hardangervidda plateau.
