Orsta is a town and municipality centre in the Sunnmore district of More og Romsdal county in western Norway, set at the head of the Orstafjord close to the neighbouring town of Volda. It is surrounded by the steep peaks of the Sunnmore Alps, which make it a base for mountain hiking in summer and ski touring in spring. Visitors also use it as a gateway to the Hjorundfjord and the wider fjord landscape of the region.
