San Lucas Treetop Dining Experience | 11 Course Glass Lounge

The Glass Lounge is the most exclusive way to dine at San Lucas Treetop Dining in Monteverde. There is only one table per day, reserved for a single group of up to 4 adults, and the lounge is yours for the whole evening.

The menu

An 11-course chef-curated tasting menu featuring the restaurant's signature dishes, plus two exclusive dishes created solely for the Glass Lounge. Every course comes with a pairing: choose wine, cocktails or a zero-proof pairing. The evening opens with a welcome cocktail and closes with a bespoke gift to take home.

The setting

A private glass lounge with panoramic views over the Monteverde cloud forest, fully enclosed and weather-protected. Dinner starts at 5:30 PM, so you see the canopy in the last light of the day and stay on as the forest turns to night. San Lucas is located at Chira Glamping Hotel in Monteverde and is wheelchair accessible throughout. It has been ranked #2 among the World's Most Unique Restaurants, named in the Top 20 World's Most Romantic Dining Destinations, and featured by BBC Travel.

1. Starts at 5:30 PM with full evening access. Dinner lasts about 3 hours.
2. One table per day, maximum 4 guests. Adults only.
3. Dress code: smart casual.
4. Dietary options: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-friendly (not certified gluten-free), lactose-free, shellfish-free and mild nut allergies. Corn, onion, garlic, beet, sunflower, olive oil, tomato, sugar, sweet pepper, celery, carrot and mild spice cannot be replaced. Guests with severe allergies (gluten, seeds or nuts) are advised not to book because of cross-contamination risk. Tell us your restrictions when booking.
5. Free parking on site. Transportation is not included; ask us if you need a transfer from your hotel.
6. Pets are not permitted.
