Rafting Cañón de la Vieja
White water rafting on the Colorado River through the Cañón de la Vieja in Guanacaste.
Navigate the Río Colorado on a 3 km route of class II and III rapids, about an hour on the water, with calm stretches to take in the scenery. Certified guides lead the way, and life jackets and helmets are provided. Expect exuberant tropical forest, mountains and wildlife such as exotic birds and monkeys along the run.
Difficulty: Moderate (class II-III).
Requirements: minimum age 6 years.
Lunch: buffet lunch available for an additional charge.
