Private Horseback Riding Tour Monteverde
A private guided horseback ride for your group through the hills of Monteverde, with views of the Gulf of Nicoya and handmade tortillas cooked over a wood stove.
The same scenic ride as our regular horseback tour, but private for your group only — ideal for families, couples and groups who want a more personal experience at their own pace.
Expert equine guides accompany you on wide, stable trails that climb into the mountains, revealing the Gulf of Nicoya, the hills of Monteverde and, on clear days, the Pacific Ocean. Saddles are waterproof and ergonomic for comfort along the route.
To finish, you'll make your own tortillas and cook them on a traditional wood stove (fogón), served with a drink.

Requirements
- Minimum age: 3–4 years
- Weight: 30 kg – 100 kg
- Minors require a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian
Tours run rain or shine unless cancelled for safety.

Full refund for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the tour's start time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start are non-refundable.
