Ora River Mangrove Kayak Tour near Samara
Kayak through calm mangrove channels near the mouth of the Ora River, between red and black mangrove forest. A peaceful Class I paddle made for birdwatchers and nature lovers.

Trade the waves for the quiet of the mangroves on this gentle kayak tour near Samara. You'll paddle through the channels close to the mouth of the Ora River, a calm Class I waterway winding through forests of red and black mangrove.
The still water and dense vegetation make this one of the best spots in the area for birdwatching. Look for herons, egrets, kingfishers and other waterbirds, as well as iguanas resting in the branches and, with luck, a crocodile watching from the water. Your local guide points out wildlife and explains why mangroves are so important to the coast.
