Naranjal is a small farming village in the hills about 45 minutes from Nosara. Getting there is part of the experience: choose a comfortable car ride or drive your own ATV up dirt roads with sweeping views of the ocean, the mountains and everyday rural life.

At the coffee plantation you'll walk among the coffee plants and follow the whole journey of the bean, from picking the ripe cherries to roasting, and you're welcome to get your hands dirty at every step. Then experience the farm way of life: grind corn for your own tortillas and sip a fresh cup of coffee while a typical Costa Rican breakfast or lunch is prepared.
