Lake Arenal is the largest lake in Costa Rica, and the best way to see it is from the water, with the volcano rising right above you. This private cruise is yours alone. You set off from the shore near El Castillo with your captain and head to "La Recta", the point on the lake closest to Arenal Volcano. From there you continue to the Peninsula sector of the national park, where a hexagonal lookout platform frames the volcano over the water. Two paddleboards travel on board. When you reach a calm bay, jump in and paddle at your own pace while the boat waits nearby. ## The boat A comfortable deck boat with upholstered seating, Bluetooth sound, a cooler, two freshwater showers and all the required safety gear. You ride barefoot on board. ## Good to know 1. The price covers the whole boat for up to 4 guests. 2. Suitable for all ages. 3. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure. The road to the meeting point is paved and fine for any car. 4. The lake entrance fee (1,000 colones per person, cash only) is paid on site. 5. Transport from La Fortuna is not included.
