Horseback Riding Cañón de la Vieja (Short Ride)
A short guided horseback ride through tropical forest and trails near the Colorado River canyon in Guanacaste.

Ride across the open Guanacaste grassland with a local sabanero, taking in views of the Rincón de la Vieja volcano and its surroundings. This is the shorter ride, around an hour in the saddle, ideal for first-time riders and families.
Difficulty: Easy.
Requirements: minimum age 8 years. Maximum weight 250 lbs (about 113 kg) for adults.
