Dolphin Watching Boat Tour from Manzanillo

Dolphins live along this stretch of the Caribbean coast year round, and a small boat out of Manzanillo is the honest way to look for them. No stadium seating, no crowd, just you and a captain who knows where they tend to feed.

The trip runs two to three hours, but it bends to what you want. Some groups watch for an hour and are happy. Others stay out longer. After the dolphins the boat usually runs down to Punta Mona beach, which used to be a permaculture farm and is still one of the quietest corners of this coastline.

The captain carries snorkel gear on every trip, so if the water looks good and you want to get in, you can. Fresh pineapple, watermelon and coconut water are on board. Departure is coordinated with the group, mornings from 8am are best, and the sea has the final word on both timing and route.
