Corozalito Turtle Nesting Night Tour from Samara
Walk the beach at night at Corozalito to watch olive ridley sea turtles come ashore to nest. Transport from Samara, guide, entrance fee, drinks and fruit included.

Corozalito Beach, a short drive from Samara, is a nesting beach for the olive ridley sea turtle. Turtles arrive here in small but steady numbers (usually up to about 20 a night), which makes for an intimate, uncrowded encounter.
The tour begins with a talk about the sea turtles of Costa Rica and how to observe them responsibly. Then you'll walk the beach at night with your guide, spending about an hour watching a turtle dig her nest, lay her eggs, cover them and finally say goodbye to her as she returns to the sea.
Round-trip transportation from Samara, the entrance fee, drinks and seasonal fruit are all included.
