Get ready to explore the spectacular Catalina Islands, one of Costa Rica’s most famous diving destinations. Located just off Flamingo Bay, this group of seven volcanic rock formations offers more than 15 different dive sites full of marine life and exciting underwater landscapes.
Our daily morning dive trip is designed for both certified divers and those seeking their first underwater adventure. Certified divers can enjoy two dives led by professional guides, while beginners or those who need a refresher can join under the Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program, including pool training before heading out to sea.
The Catalina Islands are known for their rich biodiversity. Divers often spot white-tip reef sharks, giant manta rays (seasonal), eagle rays, devil rays, moray eels, octopus, seahorses, angelfish, barberfish, damselfish, sea turtles, and much more. Swimming through schools of colorful fish in crystal-clear waters makes every dive a once-in-a-lifetime memory.
Your experience begins at 7:30 am at our Flamingo office, where we check equipment and prepare for departure. We board the Golden Venture, a spacious 54-foot boat with two levels, a dry area, and restroom facilities. Between dives, enjoy light snacks on board while soaking up the Pacific views. Return to Flamingo Beach is around 12:30 – 1:00 pm.
