Rafting in Cañón de la Vieja
Adrenaline & Adventure
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure as you ride the thrilling rapids of the Colorado River, surrounded by the towering rock walls and lush tropical scenery of the stunning Cañón de la Vieja in Guanacaste.
This action-packed rafting tour blends pure adrenaline with breathtaking nature. You'll paddle through crystal-clear waters, spot local wildlife, and feel the rush of the river. All under the guidance of certified professionals and with top-quality safety gear provided. Perfect for both first-timers and experienced thrill-seekers!
This is a 3km distance route that takes approximately 1 hour. We left the hotel on a transport from the adventure center and in 5 minutes we arrived at the river bank where we began our tour. The equipment used is very safe, life jackets and helmets are used, and given the conditions of the river, a client is accompanied by their respective guide in each of the dokis (inflatable boats). Children, depending on size and age, will travel in the same capacity as their companion, accompanied by the guide. The categories we offer in rafting are class II and III, depending on the weather conditions in the mountains of the Rincón de La Vieja volcano.
