Corcovado National Park – Sirena Station Day Tour from Drake Bay
A full-day guided adventure by boat from Drake Bay into the Sirena Station of Corcovado National Park, the most biodiverse place on Earth.
Start your adventure with a boat ride of about one hour from Drake Bay to the Sirena Station of Corcovado National Park, the most biodiverse national park in the world (roughly 3 percent of the planet's biodiversity).
Once there, we set out on a hike of around 4 to 5 hours through the rainforest, with the chance to spot an incredible variety of wildlife: all four species of monkeys, tropical birds, peccaries, coatis, sloths, and if we are lucky, the elusive tapir. Around 12:45 pm we board the boat back to Drake Bay.
Schedule
Departure: 6:00 am. Return: between 1:30 and 1:45 pm.
What to bring
At least 1 to 2 liters of water per person in a reusable bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, hiking shoes (closed and ideally waterproof), light quick-dry clothing, a cap or hat, a bandana, and a camera. Binoculars and sunglasses are optional.
Please note: single-use plastics are prohibited in the park, so please bring your own reusable water bottle.
