Get ready for a thrilling day of diving in one of Costa Rica’s top marine reserves. This incredible underwater experience begins with a 35-minute boat ride from Drake Bay to the Caño Island Biological Reserve, located in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Upon arrival, you’ll complete two dives at different marine sites around the island. Caño Island has six official dive spots, each offering unique underwater landscapes and abundant marine life. Expect to encounter sea turtles, reef sharks, schools of tropical fish, rays, and vibrant coral formations. Each dive lasts approximately 45 minutes, depending on depth and conditions.

Between dives, you’ll enjoy a rest stop at Caño Island’s beach, where you can relax and use the restroom facilities.

After your dives, the boat continues to the scenic San Josecito Beach, where you’ll enjoy a delicious picnic-style lunchsurrounded by nature. The tour wraps up with a relaxing return boat ride back to Drake Bay.
