Unlike much of Florida, it has rolling hills and canopy roads shaded by live oaks and Spanish moss, and a strong university presence with Florida State University and Florida A&M University. Visitors see the Historic and New Capitol buildings and Mission San Luis, and nearby natural areas such as Wakulla Springs.
