Sandusky is a city in northern Ohio on the southern shore of Lake Erie, set on Sandusky Bay between Toledo and Cleveland. It is best known as the home of Cedar Point, a large lakeside amusement park famous for its roller coasters. The city is also a gateway to the Lake Erie Islands, with ferries to Kelleys Island and South Bass Island, and its historic waterfront downtown draws visitors for boating, fishing and summer lake life.
