Norwalk is a coastal city in Fairfield County, in southwestern Connecticut, on Long Island Sound. Its South Norwalk waterfront, known as SoNo, has restaurants, bars and the Maritime Aquarium. Visitors also come for the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum, a grand Victorian house, and for boat trips and kayaking around the Norwalk Islands just offshore.
