It is home to Naval Station Norfolk, one of the largest naval bases in the world, and the battleship USS Wisconsin on the downtown waterfront. Visitors come for the Nauticus maritime museum, the Chrysler Museum of Art, the Norfolk Botanical Garden, the historic Ghent district and nearby beaches.
