Glenwood Springs is a city in western Colorado, located where the Roaring Fork River meets the Colorado River at the western end of Glenwood Canyon. It has been a resort destination since the late nineteenth century thanks to its natural hot springs, including a large historic hot springs pool. Visitors come for soaking, rafting, cycling the canyon path and hiking, including the trail to Hanging Lake.
