Duluth is a port city in northeastern Minnesota, at the western tip of Lake Superior. It is one of the largest inland ports in North America, and ships passing beneath its distinctive Aerial Lift Bridge are a familiar sight. Visitors come for Canal Park, the lakeside Lakewalk and views from the hills rising above the shore. The city is also the gateway to Minnesota's North Shore, with its state parks, waterfalls and scenic lakeside drive.
