Big Sky is a mountain resort community in southwestern Montana, located in the Madison Range between Bozeman and Yellowstone National Park. It is best known for Big Sky Resort, a large ski area spread across the slopes of Lone Peak. In summer, visitors come for hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing and whitewater rafting on the Gallatin River, and for easy access to Yellowstone.
