Altea la Vella is a small village in the municipality of Altea in the province of Alicante, in the Valencian Community of eastern Spain. Located inland from the coastal town of Altea, it sits among farmland and hills at the foot of the Sierra de Bernia. The village has a traditional, quiet character, and visitors use it as a base for walking in the surrounding mountains and for exploring the nearby Costa Blanca.
