Kinigi

Kinigi is a village in Musanze District, in the Northern Province of Rwanda, at the foot of the Virunga volcanoes. It is the starting point for treks in Volcanoes National Park, where visitors set out to see mountain gorillas and golden monkeys in the bamboo and montane forests. The village has lodges, cultural centres and community projects serving travellers to the park.
