Gisakura

Gisakura is a small area in Rwanda's Western Province, located on the western edge of Nyungwe National Park near Lake Kivu. It is surrounded by tea plantations whose bright green slopes border the montane rainforest. Gisakura serves as a base for visitors to Nyungwe, who come for chimpanzee tracking, the canopy walkway, forest hikes and birdwatching, as well as walks through the tea estates.
