Pinhao

Pinhao is a village in the Douro Valley of northern Portugal, set on the Douro River amid terraced vineyards. It lies in the Alto Douro wine region, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape, and is surrounded by quintas producing port and Douro wines. Its railway station, decorated with blue tile panels, is a landmark, and boat trips and wine tastings are the main reasons to visit.
