Creel is a small mountain town in the Sierra Tarahumara of Chihuahua, Mexico, set at high altitude among pine forests and rock formations. It is a stop on the Chihuahua al Pacifico railway and a popular base for exploring the Copper Canyon region. Visitors come for the scenery of Lake Arareko and the Valley of the Monks, hiking and cycling, and the culture of the local Raramuri people.
