Puerto Misahualli is a small river town in Napo Province in the Ecuadorian Amazon, located where the Misahualli River meets the Napo River. Once an important river port, it is now a gateway for jungle excursions, canoe trips and stays at nearby lodges. The town is known for the capuchin monkeys that frequent its main square, as well as for its sandy river beach and access to rainforest trails and indigenous communities.
