Skagen
DESTINATION

Skagen

Denmark

Skagen is Denmark's northernmost town, located near the tip of the Jutland peninsula where the Skagerrak and Kattegat seas meet at the sandy point of Grenen. Its distinctive light drew the Skagen Painters in the late nineteenth century, and their work is shown at the local art museum. Visitors come for the beaches, yellow-painted houses, the Rabjerg Mile migrating dune, the sand-buried church and fresh seafood at the harbour.
