Toorizta began with a simple idea, to make traveling easier and more meaningful. In a world overflowing with information and confusion, we wanted to simplify the way people explore. Our goal is to make the travel experience clear, fun, and engaging.
The name Toorizta comes from our love of being tourists. Over time, the word “tourist” has gained a negative connotation, but we believe it should be something to celebrate. To us, being a Toorizta means being curious, open-minded, and passionate about discovering new cultures, people, and places.
We’re just two people with a big dream, to build a global travel brand that makes a difference. We’re starting in Costa Rica, the country we know and love best, but our vision goes far beyond its borders. Toorizta is a social benefit company committed to giving back, 30% of our profits are dedicated to empowering local communities. Our long term plan is to create an NGO focused on education and sustainability projects that help destinations thrive.

Hello Toorizta! My name is Marta Daví, born in Barcelona in 1993. When I was 23 years old, I traveled to Thailand with my best friend, where I discovered my passion for exploration. This passion involves immersing myself in different cultures, meeting people from around the world, and embracing each day as a new adventure. Since that trip, I haven't stopped traveling the world until I stumbled upon Costa Rica. Its nature captivated me, along with the kindness and joy of its people. Therefore, I decided to settle in this beautiful corner of the world and co-create Toorizta alongside Dallas to assist travelers in discovering every corner of this country in the simplest manner possible, without the need for extensive searches to find the necessary information to enjoy this paradise. I'm Dallas Rogers, Founder of Toorizta.com and a Costa Rican native who has called Manuel Antonio home for most of my life, I know every hidden gem and off-the-beaten-path treasure in the area. This country has stolen my heart with its lush rainforests, pristine beaches, and vibrant culture, that's why I teamed up with Marta to create Toorizta – a platform designed to help fellow travelers discover the best of Costa Rica. Together, we're on a mission to make sure every visitor experiences the magic of this incredible country. Having traveled extensively around the globe, I've developed a deep passion for the beauty and lifestyle of Costa Rica. With my intimate knowledge of the area, I'm on a mission to showcase the wonders of this country to the world.
